well i did get both of your emails.. i will pray alittle harder for gramma this week... its definintly been  a tough one.. lol but all things considering we are working hard, reaping bennifits and we are happy and all is well.. i dont know if i've recieved any mail this week because since its transfer week they hold all missionaries mail at the mission office.. I didn't get transfered or anything i'm still with my training in the area i was 'born'... so ill write letters and everything tonight.. but if i dont send any out its because i dont have any stamps and i lost my wallet .. soo hold tight for another week... so last week on tuesday my companions bike got stolen.. they cut the chain and only took his bike... then my tires went and poped the day before we got his new bike.. (dont know how because we didnt ride it that day at all lol) then i baught a new innertube and two new tires.. (that was the twenty i took out) (and i believe i put 10 back in) (but then spent 8 on perro {fake coffe for an investagator} so 190 sounds about right... since then both our bikes have just been popping nonstop.. we went to shell for the free air but the nozzle was broken so we had to walk to circle K (75 cents) but since i didn't have change i pulled out my wallet and used my card (the church card .. probably only had a buck or two left for this month...we stalked up on food two weeks ago ad still havent had to get anything but milk since then) then i guess i left my wallet sitting there (and i am very protective of my wallet i dont lose it....) but heres a first lol then we went to a bike mechanic who fixes our bikes for free because he had come to church for easter.. and by the time we got there i was on flat again lol la presidente of our spanish branch lives on the same street and since Senna (mechanic) wasnt there we walked up the street to get some more air.... it worked and got us to our lunch appointment with a lady that All the elders english and spanish know... and on the way there my companions tire poped lol so we walked around the corner after lunch and spent some time with the english elders that are in our area.. they gave us some knew intertubes and a tire zipper to help get the tires off and on... and a hand pump for the rest of the day.... thats when i put my hand in my pocket and immediately knew my wallet was missing and that i had left it sitting on the machine... so we rushed back and ... nothing... i left my name and number with the store workers so that if they found the wallet they could get ahold of me... but thats about it .... a hard week but with oposition in all things we just need to work harder than the adversary and we will be blessed keep praying for ernesto franco, he is having a bit of problems (healthwise) because he gave up smoking and coffe all of the sudden... hes doin ok but its definently  hard for him..... untill next week .. ill let you know how everything is going then.. and i might have some pictures for you all then

Well im not going to write alot just because i have to reply to Andrew and Dad and Raechel because they all write me as well :D um I really ran out of time fast today but will probably get some hand written letters started (hop[efully finished) tonight .. then again i do need stamps.. lol itll work out well we were dropped this week by our Best bet investigator he just said that he was tired of lying to us and he is just not ready for this kind of commitment.. but *seeing how old he is and health problems and such ..if i were him it would be the first priority... but o well we met anouther guy this week and i can really tell that he believes in the church more every day... and we witnessed a baptism with us this week and came to church on sunday so we are praying that his only problem is smoking.. lol but if you could pray for ernesto to have the streangth to quit smoking and Jose munez to come to church.. and maria and carlos and carla to accept baptismal dates .. that would be awesome... in other news i weighed in tuesday at 184.4 (which i havent seen on a scale in about a year.. and then by friday i was at 196.. and to spare you the explosive and projectile details i was sick with a stomach flu from 3 oclock saturday morning till yesterday night.. sunday wasnt as bad as saturday and i made it threw church with ALOT of praying... but long and short of it .. i weighed in at 179.4 today but i feel much better... just gassy.. but ill take it lol ... another missionary had the same problem earlier in the week and i heard sunday that there might have been a problem with some of the milk.... but other than that.. I feel like im coming along great out here and the life is simple to maintain but difficult to fit ... in other word really busy lol i grow closer to my heavenly father everyday and i know beyond a shadow of a doubt that this is the true church of Jesus christ established once again to the earth in preparation for the second coming of the messiah. i know also that every prayer is heard and if you pray with a sincere hart, ready to do your part, and fully expecting an answer... your prayers will be answered. and for the sake of time tell grandma and grandpa I Love them and think of them often, and scroll through my camera pictures of them at least once a week. I love you all -Elder Taylor Westbrook Logan

Last week's e-mail. Sorry for the delay!

WOW, The House looks like its coming along fast, this week has been kinda long and uneventful, we are Still working ever harder to have some investigators progress. None of them attended conference but i think that the family from last week wanted to. the baby was sick on saturday and sunday and it was her 1 year old birthday... and the babies mom was at the emergency room with stomach pain. they are both ok now but it was kinda sad, we both baught a cute little stuffed animal for the baby and I needed cash today in order to get quarters because it costs 2.50 in quarters a week for laundry, so i baught a hot chocolate and a muffin for breakfast today and pulled out 15$ cash back (so that was 18 dolars all together just so you know.. i would have used my other card but apperintly its credit not debit... but its like prepaid credit lol well I loved conference and i got to watch all of the sessions.. and the parenting 505 made me think of you because i could imagine you sitting there with conference on the computer watching the old home videos and crying your eyes out.. i can't wait to see the new house all finished though so Keep me updated.. besides that just know that we are working hard and biking so much that my leftbike pedal ... like the WHOLE thing the pedal and the lever thing the pedal is attached to fell off.. luckily it wasnt to far to the nearest guy we knew who who fixes bikes.. he gave me a whole new pedal and chain set for free.. and then all i did was help him with the truck he is fixing up fo about 45 minutes.. luckily he is a nonmember so we kinda taught him a lesson while we were there. he is such a nice guy ./. but he's kinda a nomad lol well im out of time again.. so with that I love you all and please tell raechel that i love her but just ran out of time to reply to her Email... ok 1 min left  -Elder Logan :p

hola madre,
hey i think that Dearelder site works as far as my mission goes.... its pretty cool if it does :p im doing pretty good this week, Well we have quite alot of investigators in our teaching pool... we had 4 dates as of last friday, but now we only have two.. one  expired.. or didnt come to church and the other one just agreed to be baptised on the 23rd of april and then his wife visited from mexico and shut down everything.... but interestingly enuff ... the couple that came to church is an older couple WITHOUT a baptismal date lol go figure huh? well they are one set of two "projects" we have this week.. they are Maria and Carlos Caro.. and they have a daughter who is somewhere between 20 and 30 who has her own daughter that all live together.. her name is Carla... (we think... they call her Carlita.. and we can never remember the babies name) but her husband is studying somewhere .... or at leas thats what i heard them say (remember that all this is in spanish.. lol) but ya Carla seems as interested as her mom and dad but couldnt go to the church this weekend.. but we are going to try teaching the more this week and getting them to understand that they need to be baptised by someone holding the proper authority. and once they understand that (and i think we have taught that lesson three times in different ways.{incuding this last sundays' lession which was on preisthood authority} but it doesn't seem to have sunken in yet.) but besides them there is Jos'e who just needs to go to church .. and then there is rene'e who just needs to go to church and Hector who just needs to become legal in order to legally marry his wife and then they can be baptised and then there is ruben and magdalina like maria magdalina (mary magdaline) lol and there son David (who is a few years older then us and is nice to us but doesn't seem to be interested) and there probably some of our newest almost progressives but he couldn't make it to church this week. but we eat with him yesterday night for our break the fast.. can i just say that.. FAST FOOD IS NOT MEXICAN FOOD ... it doesnt even come close.. like mexican food here is hot but it's better than a stinkin Dr Pepper for tastes.... there is seriously not a good enuff word for flavor to decscribe REAL mexican food... except maybeeeeee a plethera of flavors ( and all good flavors at that) I can't even tell you what we ate.. there was beans (refried with cheese) meat (ribs sausage and flanksteak{i think flank} from right off the barby and some kind of spicy salada that didnt have fruits or any kind of lettuce in it and tortillas.. and we would rip the tortillas put allittle of everything (usually only one kind of meat at a time) on at once and that was a bite.. lol (but i cant even tell you what we ate ... lol so just imagine everything i just explained but at least 10 times beter than i explained it) well thats pretty much how things have been this since i came out.. we have other investigators and possibles and we find more everyday... but i guess ill leave you with that last visual for today... here is my favorite scripture for no other reason than i love the visual and have always tryed to put myself in the shoes of the servent of the man of god. 2kings 6:14 hasta 17
14Therefore sent he thither horses, and chariots, and a great host: and they came by night, and compassed the city about.
15And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do?
16And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.
17And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I pray thee, open his aeyes, that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and bchariots of fire round about Elisha.
