the Mission Pres. and his wife are very nice we stayed at their house on day one and i was rebuked for not having my driving record (hint: i kinda need it i guess.. if you could send it i'd be glad :D) but there was about a third of us that didnt have it so no harm done yet. (there is a Three week initial no driving policy) I love my new companion Elder Johnston, he is nearly fluent in spanish and it REALLY helps to have him here, i am understanding the language better every day .. but i can still only get my point across very simply. about every other person we speak to is a spanish speaker. Tucson is pretty much Hesperia..... with lots of cacti... i feel right at home.. lol i really like the area and am getting to know it pretty fast because my mission has a 3 hour daily bike policy ... so im out usually for about 4 hours biking and talking to people. um usually i wakeup at 6:15 do a 30 minute excercise consisting of pushups, situps, planks, handstand pushups, and diamond pushups, (only 10 each of the last two) but usually 40 to 60 pushups and situps.. then its shower and study time starts at 7 to 8 then breakfast then 1 hour comp sudy 1 hour language study and then (just for first 6 weeks) there is a 30 min role play.. then around 11 or 1130 we either eat an early lunch to save time or head stright out into the field on our bikes, and stay out until dinner around 4 or 5 and then its in a car till 9 (but thats like 3 out of 7 days it pretty much varies depending on what meetings we have throughout the day.   Thats so Exciting about the house!!!!! i'm happy it worked out for you. i am running low on time though so i'd better say hasta proximo semana.   -Elder Logan
